Two sustainable coating innovation coating options are available that meet industry standards, deliver excellent performance, and support recyclability or compostability within existing waste systems.
Certified Compostable
Our compostable cups use a plant-based PLA (polylactic acid) bio-coating as a moisture barrier – a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic linings. Certified to EN13432 standards, these cups are 100% compostable in industrial composting conditions and, in many regions, can be disposed of through food waste and brown bin collection schemes.
Certified Recyclable
Certified-as-recyclable double-wall coffee cups. There specifically engineered to be processed alongside regular mixed paper and cardboard waste.
Responsible Sourcing
Recycled materials are used wherever food safety regulations allow . PEFC and FSC certifications have been awarded to our manufacturer confirming that all virgin and recycled paperboard used in our cups comes from sustainably managed forests.
