Delivery Information

At Vertella, we aim to make delivery simple, reliable and cost-effective for our customers across the UK.

Next Working Day Delivery

Place your order before 3pm Monday to Friday and, where your items are in stock, we will aim to dispatch your order the same working day on a next working day delivery service.

Orders placed after 3pm will normally be processed on the following working day.

Please note that next working day delivery is a delivery aim and cannot be guaranteed. Deliveries may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control, including courier delays, severe weather and other operational issues.

Delivery Charges

UK Mainland

Orders over £100 excluding VAT – FREE delivery

For orders below £100 excluding VAT, a £10.22 delivery charge applies.

Local Delivery

We offer our own local delivery service within a 35-mile radius of Lancaster for £3.99.

Eligible local delivery options will be shown at checkout.

Scotland, Highlands & Islands

Some areas of Scotland, the Highlands and UK Islands may incur additional delivery charges and longer delivery times.

Any applicable delivery charge will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Delivery

Saturday delivery may be available for an additional charge and must be selected at checkout where available.

We do not currently offer standard deliveries on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Orders placed over a weekend or Bank Holiday will be processed from the next working day.

How We Deliver

Orders are delivered using DPD or Vertella's own delivery fleet, depending on your location, order size and the most appropriate delivery method.

Some larger, specialist or bulk orders may be delivered using an alternative carrier or pallet service where required.

Larger & Specialist Products

Certain products, including some commercial kitchen equipment, may be dispatched directly from the manufacturer and therefore have different delivery times.

Where a product has a longer lead time, we will aim to make this clear on the product page or contact you following your order.

If you require an item urgently, please contact our team before ordering and we will confirm the best available delivery option.

Delivery Times

Most stocked orders placed before our 3pm cut-off are dispatched for delivery on the next working day.

However, delivery dates and times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

If you have a time-critical order, please contact us before placing your order so our team can confirm availability and the most appropriate delivery service.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Deliveries

Please check your delivery as soon as possible after it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

Where possible, please provide:

• Your order number

• Details of the missing, damaged or incorrect items

• Photographs of any damaged goods and packaging

Damage or shortages should be reported to us within 3 days of delivery.

If an order has not arrived when expected, please contact us so that we can investigate the delivery with the carrier.

Returns

Unused products may normally be returned within 30 days, provided they are in their original packaging and remain in a fully resalable condition.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly, the customer is responsible for return delivery costs and a collection or restocking charge may apply.

Different return conditions apply to certain products, including commercial kitchen equipment and made-to-order items.
